Tehran. At least 70 people have been killed and more than 90 injured in attacks in Hormozgan province in southern Iran, the Iranian semi-official Fars News Agency reported.
The agency published the news citing officials.
Quoting the head of Hormozgan Medical Sciences, the report indicated significant casualties from attacks in the cities of Minab and Jask. Earlier reports suggested that more than 50 people had died after a primary school in Minab was struck.
These figures could not be immediately confirmed independently.
